Mercedes AMG GT S launched in India at Rs 2.40 crore

New Delhi: Luxury car maker Mercedes on Tuesday launched the brand new AMG GT S in India.

The Mercedes-AMG GT S has been priced at Rs 2.40 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The car gets 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 biturbo engine that churns out 510 PS of power along with 650 NM of torque. It is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

The engine can reach 100km/h mark from zero in just 3.7 seconds and can attain top-speed of 310km/h.

On the cosmetic side, the car has a long bonnet, a wide powerful rear end. The car comes with various features, including adaptive brake lights, composite braking system, automatic child seat recognition and eight airbags.
 
After the sensational success of the SLS AMG, the AMG GT is the 2nd sports car to be developed in its entirety by the engineers at Mercedes-AMG.
