Mahindra Two Wheelers launches Gusto 125 in 3 southern states

New Delhi: Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL) today launched its new Mahindra Gusto 125 scooter in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu priced up to Rs 54,920 (ex-showroom) ahead of its planned national roll out.

Developed completely in-house at Mahindra Two Wheelers' R&D Centre in Pune, the new scooter is powered by a 125 cc engine, the company said in a statement.

The Gusto 125 will initially be launched in the three Southern states before being rolled out across the rest of the country, it added.

The scooter comes in two variants. In Karnataka it is priced at Rs 50,680 and Rs 53,680; Kerala Rs 51,480 and Rs 54,480, while in Tamil Nadu is tagged at Rs 50,920 and Rs 54,920 (all prices ex-showroom).

Commenting on the launch, MTWL Chief Operating Officer Vinod Sahay said: "Since its launch last year, Gusto has grown consistently and we are now excited about extending the Gusto brand into include new consumer segments."
