New Delhi: Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd has recently launched the most advanced sports saloon –the all-new Jaguar XE at Rs 39.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Launched during the Auto Expo 2016, the vehicle is an unrivalled combination of dynamic design, performance and luxurious interiors. The all-New Jaguar XE has a true sporting character of the acclaimed Jaguar F-TYPE.

Here’s looking at five exciting features of the all-new Jaguar XE.

Engines

The All-New Jaguar XE offers a choice of 2.0L 147 kW Turbocharged Petrol and 2.0L 177 kW Turbocharged Petrol meshed with 8-speed electronic automatic transmission. The 2.0L 177 kW petrol engine achieves a class-leading acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds.

The All-New Jaguar XE is launched in India in the following models and trims:

1. Jaguar XE 2.0L Petrol Pure (147 kW) : Rs 39.90 Lakh

2. Jaguar XE 2.0L Petrol Portfolio (177 kW) : Rs 46.50 Lakh

Exterior

The all-New XE possesses energy and organic vibrancy with specific F-TYPE inspired design cues. Jaguar’s design feature includes signature 'J-Blade' running lights, strongly-sculpted bonnet, steeply raked windscreen.

Interior

Jaguar XE comes with spacious and luxurious interior with generous amounts of head and legroom, and the deeply scalloped seatbacks liberate even more space for passengers seated in the rear of the XE. The car comes with technical fabrics, fine-grain leathers with tonal and gloss black or embossed aluminum finish. Customers have a wide variety of 7 colour options to choose from on the All-New Jaguar XE such as the Polaris White, Rhodium Silver, Blue Fire, Dark Sapphire, Odyssey Red, Italian Racing Red and Ultimate Black.

Electric Powered Assisted Steering (EPAS)

Jaguar’s next generation EPAS offers outstanding feedback and control, as well as power assistance when needed. The system adds to driver confidence by communicating the approach of the limits of grip during hard cornering. EPAS allows highly-tuned computer control to adapt the levels of steering support; whether giving the driver fine control at speed, or providing comprehensive assistance during slow maneuvering.

Miscellaneous

The all-new Jaguar XE comes with Torque Vectoring by Braking. Jaguar's unique All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) is a low speed cruise control, operating at speeds between 3.6 km/h and 30 km per hour. It also has Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) that reduces engine torque and/or applies braking to the appropriate wheels.
