New Delhi: These hatchback cars in varying price range, from different manufacturers are set to enthrall you at the Auto Show 2016 pavilion:

Maruti Suzuki hatchbacks at Auto Expo 2016

1) New Maruti Alto Diesel: It was high time that Maruti Suzuki launched the diesel version of its top selling hatchback – the Alto. The new Alto 800 or Alto K10 will be equipped with the same 0.8-litre three-cylinder diesel engine that is fitted in Celerio diesel. 

Expected Price is around Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4.5 lakh

Expected Launch - Q1 in 2016

2) Maruti Suzuki Ignis: This small car, powered by a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel engine has already created buzz around the mileage delivery. The car is expected to offer practical and spacious interiors

Expected Price - Rs 4 lakh to Rs 6 lakh

Renault hatchback at Auto Expo 2016

1) Renault Kwid ​Automated Manual Transmission: Renault's hatchback Kwid has proved it mettle on Indian roads. Now, Renault is planning to unveil the automated manual transmission version of the vehicle at the Auto Expo. 

Expected Price – Rs 3.30 lakh to Rs 3.50 lakh

Hyundai hatchback at Auto Expo 2016

1) Hyundai Elite i20: Hyundai India is set to showcase the sportier and more powerful version of its popular hatchback –Elite i20 – at the 2016 Auto Show.

Expected Price – Around Rs 10 lakh – Rs 11 lakh

Tata Motors' hatchback at Auto Expo 2016

1) Tata Zica: Though, the car has already been unveiled in India, Tata Zica will make its public appearance at the Auto Expo starting February 3.

Nissan hatchback at Auto Expo 2016

1) Datsun Redi-Go: The Japanese automaker is now planning to bring-in a low cost car based on Redi-Go concept. Built on Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF-A platform, this small car will be positioned below the Go hatch, and will directly compete against the Maruti Alto 800.

1) Volkswagen Polo GTI: Volkswagen India is planning to introduce its fastest Polo – the VW Polo GTI – in the country. This performance oriented car is expected to be launched at the Auto Expo 2016.

General Motors' hatchback at Auto Expo 2016

1) Next-gen Chevrolet Beat (Concept): The industry is speculating that General Motors will shocase its concept of the next-gen Chevorolet Beat at the Auto Expo.  The company is expected to launch five new models under Chevrolet brand in India in next few years.
