Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi to be paired opposite this actor’s younger brother in debut film

Mumbai: It’s been a while we have been discussing Jhanvi Kapoor’s debut film. The daughter of veteran actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Jhanvi has already become a huge hit on social media.

The young girl, who will be launched by Karan Johar has been paired with Ishaan Khattar, half-brother of superstar Shahid Kapoor, latest buzz suggests.

Indian movie industry tracker Ramesh Bala, took to Twitter Monday to share this latest development.

He tweeted: “#JhanviKapoor and #IshaanKhattar starrer Hindi remake of Marathi Blockbuster #Sairat will go on da floors from Dec 1st.. @karanjohar co-prod (sic).”

However, neither Dharma Productions nor Sridevi has confirmed the news or made any announcement regarding the same.  Jhanvi has been seen with Ishaan a few times in the recent past and this added more spark to speculations about their collaboration for a film.

The two young actors will start shooting for the official Hindi remake of blockbuster Marathi movie Sairat from December 1, reports suggest.

Sairat directed by Nagraj Manjule introduced young actor Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru to the world of Marathi cinema. The young actress went on to bag National Film Award – Special Jury Award / Special Mention (Feature Film). The film released on April 29, 2016.

Ishaan will be making his debut with world famous Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds. The first look poster of the film was revealed at the Berlin Film Festival and is being jointly produced by Zee Studios and Eyecandy Films.

Jhanvi and Ishaan are among the array of celebrity kids who are gearing up for their dreamlike Bollywood debut. Besides Jhanvi and Ishaan, Sara Ali Khan (daughter of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan), Karan Deol (Son of Sunny Deol too are all set to make an entry into the world of celluloid.
