Singham 3: Sunny Deol’s gesture towards Ajay Devgn will make you respect him even more

Mumbai: Not too long ago, there were reports suggesting that Sunny Deol will be reprising the role originally played by Tamil superstar Suriya in the official Hindi remake of ‘Si 3’ or ‘Singham 3’. And the macho man before signing the film did something that will make you respect him even more.

According to a report in DNA, Sunny, called up Ajay Devgn (who played Bajirao Singham in the two instalments of ‘Singham’ directed by Rohit Shetty) to inform him about ‘Si 3’ before signing the film.

“But before signing the film, Sunny called Ajay and told him he is doing it. He also told Ajay he won’t use the name Singham anywhere. Ajay was cool with it,” DNA quoted a source as saying.

Well, this gesture is really too kind.

The Hindi version of ‘Si 3’ will mark the directorial debut of cinematographer K Ravi Chandran. Produced by Jayantilal Gada, ‘Si 3’ will be a full on actioner revolving around the heroic deeds of a cop who fights all odds to solve the mysterious murder of a policeman.

Interestingly, Ajay’s ‘Singham’ was a remake of Suriya’s ‘Singam’ but ‘Singham Returns’ was an original sequel to the film.

Sunny Deol who was last seen in ‘Ghayal Returns’ will be seen in Shreyas Talpade’s ‘Poster Boys’ and it will be interesting to see him as police officer in ‘Si 3’.
