Shah Rukh Khan to play a dwarf – Here’s how the scenes will be shot

Mumbai: Almost a couple of decades back, legendary actor Kamal Haasan had played a dwarf in ‘Appu Raja’. And now, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to essay the character of a dwarf in Aanand L Rai’s untitled film.

We are in an age, where technology is at its peak. And films such as ‘Baahubali’ have proved what wonders visual effects can do!

So will the makers of the Aanand L Rai’s film solely depend on technology to make SRK look like a dwarf?

Well, according to a report in DNA, holes will be dug on the platform where a few scenes would be shot so that SRK could stand and convincingly look shorter.

“Wherever Shah Rukh Khan will shoot his scenes, there will be holes drilled on the platform into which the actor will get in. It is done to keep his height true to the script’s demand. His look will be a mix of VFX and props. It is used in the West and will now be put to use in this film as well,” DNA quoted a source as saying.

The film in question also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The former will play a mentally challenged girl while the latter will play herself.
