Mumbai: After the unexpected dismal failure of ‘Tubelight’ at the Box Office, Salman Khan had reportedly promised to help the distributors who incurred losses by returning money to them.

The film that was released on Eid this year couldn’t strike a chord with the audience despite having an emotional theme. Neither the audiences approved of the film nor did the critics.

And now, the superstar has reportedly decided to compensate for the losses by paying the distributors a sum of Rs 32.5 Crores.

According to a report in India.com, originally attributed to a leading daily, Salman called the Maharashtra distributors of the film and has agreed to pay them Rs 32.5 crore to them to compensate for the losses they suffered.

He had reportedly promised to return the money by the end of July but owing to his busy schedule, the process got delayed.

Now, the hunk is busy shooting promos for the 11th season of his upcoming reality show – Bigg Boss – and also gearing up for his next – Tiger Zinda Hai – slated to release this December.
