Phillauri box office collections: Anushka Sharma-Diljit Dosanjh starrer crosses Rs 50 cr mark worldwide!

New Delhi: Anushka Sharma's second home production 'Phillauri' has got rave reviews from the classes and masses alike. The film where she plays a 'friendly ghost' has found appreciation from the audience worldwide, as the latest box office collections likewise.

'Phillauri' collected Rs 51 lakh on Monday and Rs 53 lakh on Tuesday, taking the total tally to Rs 26.82 cr nett (38.31 cr GBO) in India, while in global markets the film has collected $1.81m (11.77cr). The total worldwide business now stands at 50.08cr global box office.

Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, said, "Phillauri has found its own audience and its has been accepted and loved by audiences globally. We are happy that the film is holding steady and has turned profitable."

The comedy-drama starring Diljit Dosanjh, 'Life Of Pi' actor Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada besides Anushka in the lead. The film opened in theatres on March 24, 2017.
