Kaalakaandi Day 3 collections: Saif Ali Khan's quirky act earns over Rs 3 cr

New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan's latest quirky dark comedy Kaalakaandi failed to create a flutter at the Box Office. Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the Day three figures.

He tweeted:

Remember Delhi Belly? Well, the writer of this film and the former is the same—Akshat Verma, so you might get a Déjà Vu feels. But that's about it. Both are different and fall into separate categories in terms of screenplay.

The film stars Saif in the lead role while Akshay Oberoi, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raaz, Sobhita Dhulipala and Isha Talwar play pivotal parts.

Besides Saif's gritty role, Deepak Dobriyal and Vijay Raaz's act will make you excited to watch the film. The thrilling dark comedy released on January 12, 2018, clashing with Anurag Kashyap's Mukkabaaz.

Both the releases have got a lukewarm response from the audience whereas Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger Zinda Hai which hit the screens on December 21, 2018, is still going strong.
