New Delhi: The new poster of Rani Mukerji-starrer 'Hichki' is out.

In the poster, Rani is seen along with a bunch of students in the backdrop.

Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh on Friday shared the poster of the movie with the caption, "New poster of #Hichki...Stars Rani Mukerji... Siddharth P Malhotra directs... Produced by Maneesh Sharma... Presented by Aditya Chopra... 23 March 2018 release."

Rani is all set to return to the silver screen after a three-year hiatus with Yash Raj Films 'Hichki'. However, her fans have to wait a little longer to see the actress on the big screen as the film's release date has been shifted.

'Hichki', which was earlier scheduled to release on February 23, will now be released on March 23. As per reports, the decision has been taken by the makers as they want to tap into the audience that will come post-exam period.

YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra is said to have been convinced by the marketing and distribution team at the banner that "Hichki" needs a release window that could bring in more audience.

In the movie, Rani will be seen in the role of 'Naina', a teacher, who suffers from a speech defect and nobody wants to give her a job. The film highlights the story of Naina who faces discrimination from the society who firmly believes that she cannot be a teacher because of her disorder.

The film promises to be high on emotions with a moderate dose of comedy laced in between.

The trailer was released sometime back and received a warm response from the viewers.
