Bigg Boss 10 winner Manveer Gurjar gears up for Bollywood debut – Deets inside

Mumbai: Bigg Boss season 10 winner Manveer Gurjar is all set for his acting debut. Yes, you read that right. The common man, who won the tenth edition of the super-hit reality show hosted by superstar Salman Khan, will soon be seen in a Bollywood film.

Manveer has been roped in for a film titled Aaj Ki Ayodhya. The film written by Anant Kumar will be directed by Naresh Dudani.

According to a report in dnaindia.com, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz actress Shraddha Das will play the leading lady in the film. Aaj Ki Ayodhya will see Manveer play a common man and Shraddha in a girl-next-door avatar. Veteran actor Sanjay Mishra too will play a pivotal role in the film.

Aaj Ki Ayodhya which was launched a few days will be shot in Varanasi and Lucknow too.

Manveer took to his Instagram page to share the news. He posted:

For the unversed, Manveer went on to become the first common man to win the Bigg Boss trophy and cash prize. The tenth season of the show had commoners on board for the first time. The show which is an Indianised version of British reality show Big Brother, has over a dozen people from different walks of life locked inside a house for over three months. They remain under multiple camera surveillance round the clock. The game show is a true test of character and patience and in the end, the strongest person emerges victorious.  

Manveer came across as the most popular contestant and he beat celebrities Bani J, Lopamudra Raut, Rohan Mehra, Karan Mehra, Rahul Dev, Antara Biswas (Monalisa) and Gaurav Chopra by a handsome margin.

After winning Bigg Boss, Manveer was seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi.
