Based on the inspiring real-life story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, the film showcases a father’s determination to train his daughters – Geeta and Babita – in a sport that is generally dominated by men.
Also starring Sakshi Tanwar, Zaira Wasim, Suhani Bhatnagar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, ‘Dangal’ released in India on December 23, last year.
