Bhojpuri sensation Nisha Dubey to play cop in Khuddar

Nisha Dubey started her career as a Bhojpuri singer but is now focusing on films. The singing sensation says it was her dream to become an actor and with the Bhojpuri film 'Khuddar', which has popular singer Gunjan Singh and bombshell Anjana Singh in the lead roles, she is well and truly on her way to fulfilling her aim.

New Delhi: Singer-turned-actress Nisha Dubey started her career as a Bhojpuri singer but is now focusing on films. She is playing the role of a police officer in Bhojpuri film Khuddar. The singing sensation says it was her dream to become an actor and with the Bhojpuri film 'Khuddar', which has popular singer Gunjan Singh and bombshell Anjana Singh in the lead roles, she is well and truly on her way to fulfilling her aim.

Khuddar, produced by Deepak Shah and directed by Dinesh Yadav, is being shot in Silvassa in Daman and Diu, and in Gujarat. Nisha is extremely excited about her role and says she was afraid of police during her childhood and that is why she chose to play the character of a woman cop.

She is going to act in another Bhojpuri film Banarasi Pahalwan which is being produced by Ashok Goswami and Sanjay Yadav. The film’s shooting will start on March 23 in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur. She has signed to act in “Power Vardi” too which has Rakesh Mishra and Avinash Pandey in the lead roles.

Nisha's roles in all the three films are different and she is confident of doing justice to them.

She was born in Bihar’s Buxar on August 7, 1999 and made her acting debut in 'Dildar Sajna' opposite her husband and Bhojpuri heartthrob Arvind Akela Kallu. Her upcoming films include 'Karm Yug', Gadar 2, 'Dil Hail Deewana', 'Rudra', 'Nache Nagin Gali Gali' and 'Swarg'. She has also featured in 28 Bhojpuri albums.
