Bengaluru: The students of Maharani Arts, Commerce and Management College for Women are scared of a knife-weilding young psychopath who enters their hostel by jumping through the compound walls, steals their innerwears and flees.
According to ANI, a semi-naked miscreant carrying a knife was caught on camera at night sneaking into ladies` hostel of the college and fleeing with the innerwears of the students which they had left for drying.
The video footage shows a middle-aged man strutting around the laundry section of the campus, stealing and wearing lingerie.
It is over six months that the unidentified man has been entering the hostel by jumping the compound wall, but unfortunately, the city police has not been unable to trace the man.
Responding to the incident, college principal Dr Shantha kumari said he is a "psycho", who jumps through the wall in midnight hours, adding the college has lodged a complaint in the police station.
"We had lodged a complaint in the police station and we have also brought into the notice of our department they are taking care of the matter. The process is going on. He is a Psycho minded youth, he simply jumps through the long lengthy wall in midnight hours. We have CCTV cameras in all the necessary places," she said.
As proof, the hostel officials have handed over the CCTV footage to the police.
