Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 LIVE Launch Updates: After numerous spy shots, leaked pictures, and details, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has launched in India at a price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike has been one of the most anticipated bikes in the Indian market as it brings something new to the table. More specifically, the bike brings the signature style of its manufacturer along with new details. It is to be noted that even though the bike is has been launched today but the unveiling of the bike came as a black swan putting out all of its details. Now the company only has to reveal the variant-wise pricing of the bike.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Design
Despite having the same 350 cc engine as the Bullet and Classic, the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 sports a different body style that leans more toward the brand's sportier side than its touring DNA. Additionally, the bike's round headlamps, indicators, and lengthy single-piece seat have a throwback feel to them. In contrast to previous motorcycles from the firm, the bike's size appears to be smaller.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Variants
With revisions to the bikes' designs, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be offered in two variations: Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro and Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Retro. It is to be noted that the metro variant has been further bifurcated into dapper and rebel series.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Engine, Mileage
An upgraded 349cc, single-cylinder, two-valve, SOHC, air/oil-cooled engine powers the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350. The motor, which is coupled to a five-speed gearbox, generates maximum torque of 27Nm at 4,000 rpm and 20.2bhp at 6,100 rpm. The highest speed is 114 kmph, and 36.2 km/l of fuel economy is claimed.

After the Hunter 350, Royal Enfield plans on bringing more bikes to the Indian market. Shotgun 650, and Super Meteor 650 among others will be launched by the company in the near future.
Since, the Hunter 350 will compete with the Honda CB350RS, Jawa 42, and the recently launched TVS Ronin. The motorcycle's price is expected to start around 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
In the Indian market, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will face tough competition from multiple rivals owing to its neo-retro design. To name a few Honda CB350 RS, the newly launched TVS Ronin, and Jawa Forty-two will be some of its direct rivals.
The reduced weight on the Hunter 350 has been achieved by cutting some weight from the frame, and tyres and using some plastic in the body.
Along with small size comes lighter weight. The Hunter 350 has a weight of 81 Kg, which makes it 10 Kg lighter compared to the Meteor 350. What benefits will it offer? The light weight makes the bike more agile and faster.

Royal Enfield will target a new group of buyers who want a larger capacity roadster with the Hunter 350. It will be the company's smallest and most affordable motorcycle on the market.
Based on the information revealed earlier the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be offered in 6 colours with Dual-tone options– Rebel Blue, Rebel Red, Rebel Black, Dapper Ash, Dapper White, and Dapper Grey.
Royal Enfield claims that the chassis of the new Hunter 350 has been modified to give a singular and unique experience. This is a motorcycle with different characteristics; offering an agile and fun-to-ride experience.
The numerous spy shots leaked earlier of the test mules and the camouflaged models reveal that the bike has been a long project. Confirming that, the CEO of Royal Enfield Siddhartha Lal said that the new Hunter 350 was in development since 2016.

The Hunter 350 is based on the same J-platform as the Meteor 350 which is already on sale in the Indian market. Owing to that the bike won't have a kick unlike the most affordable bikes of the manufacturer.
