Citroen C3 Aircross SUV has been unveiled in India as the French automaker's fourth car in the country. Furthermore, the car will be the third model to carry forward the C3 name after the hatchback and electric version of the car. Despite the same moniker, the car comes with different capabilities than its predecessors in India. The automaker has designed the SUV to be a capable off-roader as well. It is to be noted that the SUV will target the hot market of compact SUVs dominated by Indian and Korean automakers in India. The company announced that the C3 Aircross SUV will go on sale in India later in 2023.

The Citroen C3 Aircross draws heavily from its predecessor as far as the exterior design details are concerned. Some of the prominent details include an integrated Citroen logo into the grille. The two-layer chrome plated design up front is complemented by Y-shaped DRLs with the headlamp below it. The bumper in front getx dedicated air intakes.

The side part of the Citroen C3 has round wheel arches and a design reminiscent of the other C3 models. The car stands on alloy wheels, giving it a ground clearance of 200 mm. Similarly, on the ear end, the car has square-shaped tail lamps, which give the SUV a seemingly bigger look compared to the hatchback. It is essential to mention that the top-end variants of the car will also be offered with a dual-tone paint scheme.

The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV will be offered two seating options, including five and seven-seater options. Furthermore, the SUV will be loaded with features like a 10.2-inch touchscreen, second-row AC vents, and more. To make it better on all terrains the company offers multiple driving modes.

The Citroen C3 Aircross is powered by a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine giving out 110 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. This is the same engine that powers the C3. In terms of gearbox choices, the C3 will be offered with a six-speed manual. 

The Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq are just a few of the well-known competitors that the C3 Aircross will compete against once launched in India.
