Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone buys Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 worth Rs 2.80 crore

Celebrity couple and Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have bought a brand-new Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 4Matic SUV worth Rs 2.8 crore (ex-showroom). The car is registered under the name of Deepika Prakash Padukone and was registered in Mumbai RTO on September 2, 2022. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 is the most expensive and luxurious SUV from the German carmaker Mercedes-Benz in India. Interestingly, Ranveer Singh reportedly bought a Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 in June 2021, on his 36th birthday. However, a quick search on Parivahan website reveals it's registered on some other name. Both the SUVs get the same Blue colour.

Mercedes-Maybach GLS600

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 is the most luxurious SUV from the automaker and gets a feature rich cabin with Nappa leather upholstery, electronic panoramic sliding sunroof, ventilated massaging seats, and much more. The GLS600 is available in single variant and is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine along with a 48V mild hybrid system. The engine generates 557 PS and 730 Nm of peak torque, while the hybrid system generates 22 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
